I'm glad I watched the movie and then read the series because the graphic novels are a lot better and more nuanced in Scott's development, but it's one of my favourite feel good films.

If you like old school beat 'em ups, the game is worth checking out too. And thank goodness it did get released to modern stuff and not stuck back on the 360 and ps3.
