Made some progress yesterday. Was able to get a script working with a custom model.
There are, mainly, 2 ways to go about this on a RPi:
1. Use Halo's Py infrastructure, which is a bit more complex but looks more powerful
2. Use Picamera2 which looks simpler but not as powerful

This is coming from a person that is still learning about CV using Hailo on a Pi 5. Keep that in mind.
I was able to process the data returned by the model but haven't been able to display the results on the preview window yet.

Have you checked out Google Coral Stick or Oak-D lite?

Haven't checked Oak-D lite but should probably research. Coral Stick is kinda expensive for 4 TOPS
