Yes. I had 2, Ray Evert and Ted Kozlowski, because I did a double major, botany and forestry. However, I became more interested in tree biochemistry, and wound up with Folke Skoog and Bob Burris as my real advisors.

Yes, indeed. Agreed. It was a special place for sure. Good old Birge Hall. This time of year, needing a break, one could visit the greenhouses any day and breath in that air and see cool plants everywhere, better than many botanical gardens had. The professors were great.
