I still have an original half red/half blue pencil from the 60s. Appropriately half-used. Will trade for a Fanny Farmer :)

I should add, when I was growing up, a box of Fanny Farmer nut-covered toffee ("butter brickle") was the the annual Mother's Day gift from my Dad.

The abundance of serif fonts makes the US pencil look very alien to UK eyes.
