It’s so crazy to me, it’s easy to see this man is clearly a bad person on a human level and so many people support him and don’t see how evil he is. I really can never understand it

There are so many people that are bad that were waiting to be allowed to release it. The people in the church are so happy to let out all of their hate and judgement on others that they used to be shamed for but now celebrated for.
I think most very well see how evil he is, and they LIKE it. The same people would have rallied around Hitler in 1940. What Americans don't understand is that about 30% or so of Americans are both terrible people and stupid. Another 10-20% are greedy, amoral people who just want to not pay taxes.
He speaks to the hate in their hearts. They don’t need to keep their dirty little secrets anymore. They can say exactly what they’re thinking and not feel shunned.
