Ada would probably be more interested in getting back into competitive play if there was a <16 bracket for sure. She’s mostly into sealed so she can crack packs & not need to test & practice just to lose to her dads friends
So locally, some store will have to generate that play community. It's hard though. A competitive night or day for just kids. Through no fault of their own, kids don't have money and are bad at attendance. Wide skill gaps. It's the kinda thing not every store should do, but some store needs to.
I can only think of 3-4 competitive-capable < 16 players I've run into at local stores between Jackson and Detroit, and we've had a hell of a time keeping Sylvan's casual jr league alive...
I thought the same thing… talked with a local shop and they started one. it’s going to have its inaugural day this weekend! Hopefully #ravensburger will see this and want to provide prize support for the younger ones. Incentivizing more shops.
