If it's the 2.0 duratec auto, they genuinely aren't that bad in the later model years. The engines are bulletproof and the dps6 does have issues but you'll get an easy 80-120k before needing a clutch/actuator job, more if you adjust your driving habits. Basically don't let it creep and let off

And they’ve been nickled & dimed with repairs way beyond what the extra cost for a more reliable car.
Unfortunately, this person is... not gentle on cars.
I'd still take it over a Dodge Dart or Chevy Cruze though lol
