It was an experiment in character development and in red herrings and foreshadowing. It was a challenge I set for myself craft-wise, and I ADORED writing this book. I had a blast. And my betas are obsessed with it. So now I want to give it the best chance it can get. Hence #revpit

I had no idea what I was getting into. I had no idea about #RevPitTeasers and #10queries and wow, it has been equally nerve wracking and exhilarating! I even think (hope? wish? delulu dream?) one teaser thread was my book. I did not realize the rollercoaster I was in for 🤣

My writer friends have been encouraging and reminded me that sometimes manuscripts don’t get chosen because they don’t need enough editing. While that may be great feedback to get, I still find myself disappointed at the thought of that happening. Almost more disappointed than if I got bad feedback.

So here I am, a freshly pubbed debut author back in the trenches just bracing for impact on all the rejections to come 🤣 I’ve set myself up for a terrible rush drop, given that #revpit decisions will be posted the day after the B&N book launch party of my dreams! Should’ve thought it through 🤣

Anyway I’m off to refresh the #RevPitTeaser thread some more because it is infinitely more addicting than QT and I am procrastinating on the sequel to my debut. I’m still happy and proud of myself to have taken this leap and I cannot wait to share this book with the world one way or another 🩷
