You succeeded. If I may ask, was that a soft focus filter, an old manual lens, or a touch of motion blur that smoothed the baby’s arm? The veins on the leaf are dark and sharp… makes me curious

The baby moved her arm just when I took the picture, I didn’t do anything special. I was about to shoot the lovely leaves when her arm decided to join the photo.

It totally works. Aside from the old-world coke and coal shade of the leaves, that tiny motion makes it easy to dream of century-old leaded lenses round as your arm. Nicely done!
