Yes it has been a shocking turn of events. As I age, the capacity of the public at large to demonstrate their ignorance and indifference no longer surprises me!
I was horrified about Brexit. I did not see it coming. I didn’t see Trump winning. I had no idea how much ignorance the US had. One-third didn’t even bother to vote.
