I think if we're defining success as like, notoriety and fortune, then to me it's kind of a double-edged sword.
Say 'quality' were directly correlated with success, I really don't think I'd be trying so hard to make good music; I'd obsess over moderating the size of my audience - toning myself down

Fellow artists - how do you deal with the complete lack of correlation between quality and success in our industry?
