Something my husband & I were discussing yesterday. Normally it’s Australian fire season but not anymore. Scary thing is, our last horrific season was before COVID hit. We had fires burning in winter/summer, then the pandemic hit. I hope history doesn’t repeat

Let's hope the victims of these fires see through the smokescreen of blame which will soon engulf the narrative, and realise it goes beyond local authorities/fire resources, and that their suffering and deprivation is fuelling the wealth of the fossil fuel companies and the politicians in their pay.

Our 2019/2020 bushfires (NSW) started in JULY. They burned on and off for months, being put out, then flaring up again. Until about January when we finally got widespread rain. I have asthma induced by the months of poor air quality.
