i know i know! i love them. theyre visual predators, hence the eyes. their nests are complete pigstys they really are like the ant equivalent of trolls. furious aggressive giants living in messy caves
they have sharp and snappy reflexes/motion tracking. if you waggle a finger in front of them they will track it... i tried to sneak up on one from behind once (with my finger) and they pivoted like entering the aggro range of an enemy in a video game.
