One more day of work tomorrow. Planning to rest as must as possible this weekend though I do have some things I need to get around to, like putting away laundry I did on Monday and hanging up my costumes.

I did test negative yesterday and then again this morning, but I’m still dealing with some sniffles and sneezing. No fever, no severe sore throat, no cough. If I hadn’t tested, I would have thought this was allergies.
I get it extremely light, have both times (the second time I had Paxlovid and those side effects were far worse than having COVID - worth it to avoid worsening my Long COVID symptoms, though).
Tbh I think that’s where this “it’s not so bad” narrative comes from.
The first time I had it, I felt absolutely awful, but it was short lived. I think it’s not so bad this time maybe because I’ve had 2 additional vaccines in the interim. I took other preventative measures, but here we are. I’ve never taken Paxlovid. Might’ve been useful that first time tho.
If you can get it, I’d take it just to prevent your chances of developing Long COVID. Friend of mine in the medical field says they are noticing a trend of Long COVID symptoms appearing in people who get it light, versus those knocked out for several days or a week.
Good to know in case it happens again, but I have tested negative for 2 days now so I don’t know what good it would do. A friend was looking into it Monday and said it was quite expensive ($450+) even with insurance. I have insurance, but that’s ridiculous.
