To the extent that Donald Trump is an existential threat to the American republic (he is), I think it's probably worth spending at least a little time interrogating how almost all the major figures in the Democratic Party thought it was more important to soothe a feeble old man's ego than win.

One is "Biden was ineffectual/weak", and Dems were "shielding" him (out of loyalty, or whatever).
The others "there's a *real* ongoing crisis", and why are Dems too timid to put their necks on the line (cause, you know - there's real threat of harm)
Like, even fucking Impeachment is off the table atm. I think any Biden questions can quite safely be ignored for now, tbh...
