Even if they used the Oxford definition, the "especially" part modifies "weakness of old age" which means still "weakness of old age, especially of mental faculties."

It does not include violent outbursts or aggressive behavior. Those are features of a couple of dementias (r/t psychosis of dementias). And by the point those show up, the violent outbursts are usually apropos of nothing, not relating to a topic at hand.
You’re using expert medical parameters for a conversation between strangers on your phone. You don’t need to grade this. It’s ok for them to be imprecise and conversational. You don’t need to sacrifice your dignity by insulting others.
This started with a journalist using the word senile. And it's important for journalists to be "both accurate and precise" (to quote my first biology professor).
I saw how this started. I don’t need a recap, or a professorial lecture. You can be technically correct or whatever if that’s your goal. I can admit that if that’s all you wanted. But even this reply is condescending. Again for your dignity please try to be nicer and more gracious in conversation.
