ATM Eric is, of course, wrong, but AEW fans, we need to talk.
Come sit here.
Here take the comfy armchair, I'll sit over here.
Okay, so, you have to stop being so anxious about AEW all the time. They're successful, okay? They're not going away anytime soon. 🤼🧵

Are they as successful as WWE? No, but that's an unreasonable expectation to put on a five year-old company.
Did you know AEW is one of the rare promotions in the history of pro wrestling to be profitable? Yeah, see, that's good news! ➡️
1. Don't make wrestling promotions your identity
Just because someone doesn't like your thing is not a reflection on you.
2. Don't carry water for companies.
They won't for you.
Okay? Stop being anxious. Have fun!
Because this is exactly what I mean.
Newer fans do not realize that every company goes through this. Most do not know the Dixie Carter/Jeff Jarrett/Anthem thing that TNA had. If it kept going the way it did, TNA definitely would have died before 2020.
😂
AEW will be fine
It will be interesting to see over the longer haul if the streaming helps.
I have a friend that watched early on then he cut the cord and he only stopped watching because he didn't have it easily on streaming. He seems excited with the new deal including Max.
If the garbage spewed from Bischoff, Cornette or any of the WWE tribalist clowns was true that doesn’t happen.
You don’t see anybody who was actually dope saying something negative about it. Brett Hart doesn’t. Ric Flair doesn’t. Arn Anderson didn’t, etc.
#aew
its like who gives af about what the bad faithers and trolls say, just watch and enjoy your favorite show
for me, i only watch aew/tjpw/ddt and ill just “yea and? whats it to you? EYE like it” mentality
For all of their flaws, AEW is the first US wrestling company to have their media rights go up during a boom time for WWE. They're about as safe as they can be. It'll be ok and if it's not there are other shows
Feeling outnumbered while being bombarded by constant attacks made it feel like if I didn’t try and defend AEW, it wouldn’t be around for long.
But you’re right. It ain’t going anywhere.
