I personally feel like in a world of MAGA since 2016 him desperately sticking to a rich stuck up “America is the best” type bad guy in all aspects it just isn’t what I want to watch. At all. Especially with how much he wins or gets away with things.
Literally everytime I look at my timeline people praise him and defend his work. I feel like Im the only one who seems to think he’s not very good. Ive never really enjoyed his work. He comes off as far too 1note and predicable as a heel. He has some great matches but he’s painfully repetitive to me
People are 1000% being worked by MJF. I've seen some out of character interviews he's done and the guy comes off as genuine and grounded. It's such a stark contrast to his public persona.
Yikes. I would love for you to have another conversation with @trishsp.bsky.social and @sarahgraps.bsky.social about why he has go away heat with a lot of the female audience.
There are specific criticisms so to downplay that as ppl vaguely calling him bad is unfair.
Aside from the misogyny and racism, I actually really disagree that he does know how to pivot. It’s been a weakness of his since he’s returned imo. He never gets past 6th grade insults, even w/Hangman. Rewatch that short feud. Hangman carried him.
"MJF is bad" is something that happens a few times a year, then he goes out and truly shows out and people shut the hell up for about 6 months and then it starts again.
I’ve never thought MJF is bad, quite the opposite. He’s a much better wrestler than he’s given credit for, especially considering the amount he works. I think he has bad habits and falls into bad traps that undermines his ability.

1/2
He desperately needs to pivot. 2/end
What makes him frustrating is he can be great but goes for the low hanging fruit instead.
In the ring, he's almost always better than expected.
