Ye good to know! I think the pirate’s curse is the most popular (?) btw I just saw they’re releasing a new game this year (actually a GBA game that was shelved way back in the days)

If you are looking to get into the Shantae series, I would suggest starting with Half-Genie Hero, which is a bit more level based.

Then try Pirates Curse and Seven Sirens which are a bit more Metroidvania. Then finally the original on GB, Risky's Revenge and Risky Revolution if you're curious.

They are all easily accessible on Steam and all consoles, except for Risky Revolution which at the time of this writing is scheduled to be released on consoles and PC this summer.
