If you think of any event in history before the Industrial Revolution, CO2 was around 270/280 ppm.Building the pyramids, Julius Caesar, Genghis Khan, Spanish Armada, etc etc. All with CO2 at about 270/280 ppm.

Now it's over 420 ppm, a 50% increase. CO2 hasn't been this high for millions of years.
