The screw top paint pot, was the only type to ever dry out on me when sealed. Being poor at the time, this 'betrayal' was forever scared me, and I hate the design. :P

They looked awesome, but hands down the worst pot citadel ever released!
None of my paints in those pots survived long.
Still have serviceable goblin green from the 90’s pots though

I hated them. The paint would frequently get into the ridges of the screw top and gum it up, either sealing them tight or making them impossible to screw back on. Rest in shit you evolutionary dead ends.

I like to tell the anecdote about not having been entrapped by Magic the Gathering as I'd literally been taught about operant conditioning in school a week or two before I first encountered it, but the lessons from 90s Citadel paint about cynical corporate marketing are probably just as valuable!

When I was younger, mtg came along and essentially swept warhammer away as my meagre amount of spending power could barely keep pace with one of them!
Now I’m old, can afford both and have learned very few lessons over the years! 🤣
