Nah, men have a clear and fair advantage when fighting with a woman. A woman refusing to intervene is far different than a man. As someone who has been assaulted for just speaking, women risk far more than any man, just for using their words, and there were plenty of female voices protesting this.

Sheriff Norris was the one telling the private security guys to "get her". He was the first one to approach and put hands on her according to the article. And the police were deliberately not inside nor informed of what was happening, despite them being right outside due to safety concerns
