actually the features like the tags and moderation is just so much better here than there! it is a good place here, it just needs the push to get people to use it!🤗

With all these new updates and with more and more people joining, I think a lot of people are starting to get comfortable with using this platform more proactively. Hopefully the momentum keeps going and the community grows. So far it's been a blast to use
Yeah, it's been nice so far. BUT I'm wondering how things will go once mainstream acceptance and usage takes off for real. Twitter was great for a time as well and.. well..... yeah. Time will tell.
It's all well and good in the short term. But an actual push like that will show if people actually want to make the move or are content to stay with an established base. I'm hoping more are willing to make that change.
Yeah but the problem is that their main hobbies/interest are still only sharing the other site. So they won't move as long as their interests don't move as well.

Admittedly I signed up the last time X goes up months ago but ended up not using this much. I hope this new wave of users really jumpstarts the moment. I will try to engage more! <3
seems a little bit worrying given the sudden influx of new users, myself included. I wonder if https://bsky.app will be able to handle the throughput. I hope they have plans on how to maintain server infrastructure costs, because it would be an absolute shame... I'm already liking it here.
Maybe with more people moving here, it'll give the devs the push to make it more like the site its copying(mastodon) and improve on CWs, character limit & join the fediverse
So far so good! I think if most content creators and artists can get their followings over here to comparable levels, it'll really kick off here full swing.
I think the latest change to ToS over there has pushed a lot of people to swap, so let's hope they stick to using this one. Love the feel here way more, so I'm planning to stay.
People may move here once the various official accounts are opened, I'll be interested to see what happens in the future. But the translation function is a little more convenient on Twitter...🥺
This is a good point too. It’s hard for me to completely move on from the other place when one primary use for it is to keep up with company accounts for talents
