Here's a fun one: you can bring one videogame franchise back for a new game, BUT it will be a spin-off in a completely different genre. Which franchise and genre would you choose?

I'd be down for that! Bushido Blade have so many cool characters and little plot points, a shame it all got left behind on the PS1. An RPG could do wonders in raising interested for the IP, and also be one hell of a good game too.
It baffles me that a Sonic rhythm game hasn't happened yet.
And after how divisive the last few games have been, shaking up the Soul Calibur franchise with an RPG could help bring interest back to it, so that's a really good call!
I love it. Have Regina be this xenomorph-like presence on the island, where all the dinosaurs are super scared of her, and have you play as a weak one that's trying to escape her while working with the other dinos. There's an actual game to be made here, not gonna lie
Yes!! I love those games, but the combat gets a little repetitive in the second half onwards. A more strategic approach could help make the game feel a little more involved.
Absolutely, I'm surprised they haven't tried it beyond that weird PS1 game. Something that played like Vanquish or a 3rd person version of og Halo, it would be super cool
Idk why this just popped into my brain but what if you took Triangle Strategy’s approach to tactics/SRPG but using old school Star Ocean? So sci fi space odyssey JRPG political narrative and tactics with HD2D/second story R graphics 🤔
Look, I'm not gonna lie, I haven't played a single game/franchise you mentioned here 🤣 but the idea of a HD2D game with a space Odyssey theme sounds really cool, so I agree
🤣 no worries, but I guess that means I’m recommending Star ocean second story R and triangle strategy lol. I’m not even a huge sci fi/space fan but it’d fill a niche in the fantasy SRPG genre imo!
That's probably as random as it gets haha but I think it could work? There's enough creative characters and locations on the franchise to at least try it, I believe
Human forces vs army of monsters led by Dracula's generals.
Would be perfect for the so called "demon castle war of 1999" that was only mentioned in some games
I like it. It's not only a great idea for a game, but also the perfect opportunity to finally let players play as Dracula and his army. I can even imagine a fun PvP mode with this one
That would be fun, actually. A race to see who can deliver more papers, while sabotaging the other racers along the way. Sound like an awesome little party game!

after all, that one star fox game with the cameras did so well right? (star fox guard)
Sonic and the Golden Fleece.
Samurai Warriors 3 on the Wii had a side mode dedicated to the franchise, it was pretty neat.

Telltale game set after Future Perfect.
