Haha I can respect that. I gaslit myself into liking god damn Final Fight Streetwise, so it's not that out of the ordinary for a huge Dragon Ball fan to do the same with this game.

It's a shame too. Sagas was the Dragon Ball equivalent of Trespasser. Interesting and innovative idea for the time that could have been huge, but was knee-capped by over-ambitious devs biting off way more than they could chew and a lack of proper funding for an attempt at such a large experience.

Yeah, this game is guilty of a lot of things, but lack of ambition is not one of them. As a concept, I still think Sagas had a lot going for it, a shame the execution ended up being so flawed.

Sagas did a few innovative thing that to this day they never tried to do. Do we have another adventure co-op story? No. Do we have fun niche costumes/char. vers that were in "that" game anywhere else? 🤔 It has its good points as far as breaking the fighting game norm.

Very haha it's a 3D beat em up, and a very simple one at that. But movement speed is slow and clumsy, combos have almost no impact, the level design is almost non existent and the bosses take forever to beat, due to their humongous health bars. It looks and sounds fine tho.
