I’m sorry I think it’s good that 30,000 people went to a Bernie/AOC rally in Denver, I really do, but a rally is a cute weekend plan to see celebrity politicians, it’s not a protest, not fighting back. It’s sort of mind-boggling to see no nationally organised movement in the US even now

However, it kind of fits with the direction of national politics from interaction to spectacle that America has taken over the last 70 years.
You watch politics. You pay for politics (through patreon-like donations). You dont do politics. Thats for the bigwigs.
But you have to start somewhere and this is a good beginning...
This is the beginning of a mass-mobilisation of the working class.
The serious rallying & protesting will soon follow!
That's a promise...
Because there's no alternative!
30,000 more people will be talking to at least one friend all about the rally and encouraging the friend to join them in protest.
30,000 more fired up, fiesty people than there were the day before. Get it?
Though the typo kinda works too
Media isn't covering our protest because why would they? They're owned by the rich.

The police and the army have done a lot of training to stop the people rebelling, but at some point they realize that they are fighting against family, friends, neighbours, etc. and that they are basically only fighting for oligarchs interests.
Than it's done!
Sure, that’ll work. 😬
The learned helplessness of white Americans is something to behold
The police is standing in the way...
I mean to say that at some point they step out of the way.
And than it's done...
And by the way, I'm not from the USA.
But Trump creates a completely new situation and this is what makes people aware something that is effecting their lives is going on. So that makes that the moment is now!
More and more working class people are ready to rebel against Just Stop Oil,why well they are destroying painintng, land marks, aircraft, they are not better than Jan 6th criminals.
Where does it start? And again: how are you helping?
I mean it. If you have better ideas I'm open to them. A LOT of people are, but they don't have direction. People want leaders: well, AOC and Sanders step up; other Dems are speaking up.
So, pitch in.
And for the love of god, stop shooting what IS out there down. It's actually demoralizing.
I don't think AOC/Bernie are trying to build a national movement, nor should they- they are regional representatives.
I think they're doing marketing, not sales. I desperately hope the locals are sales
We all remember the multi-synced video by Sinclair broadcasting, yes?
And that's just for those engaged in politics.
I can't know their circumstances, but I am glad they are listening, now.

Contrast that to public reactions in Israel, Serbia and Georgia these days when politicians try to bend rules or become too 'friendly' with Russia.
for 30,000 people to show up in a western state that’s all desert is amazing. These people drove 1-5 or more hrs
So they're not part of the 1%
They're part of the 0.000001%
They will all go home and wave pickleball paddle messages at people and wish things were different.
But, what a great rally. Almost as good as Woodstock.

April 5th in DC will be especially big.
No one organized the big protest, all the groups came together.
1. These have been in the middle of the week, in the middle of the day. People had to actively make time to go to these. This was not casual attendance.
2. We start a movement by making more and more people aware. This is how you start a movement.
