That game was definitely one of the starting inspirations for how we'd approach the open world concept!

We wanted traversal between islands to be really snappy, fast and something that can be woven into the platforming moveset.

I actually really enjoyed the combat in Demon Turf. as when I saw it removed in the expansions, I was honestly a little sad since I felt like it helped break up the platforming. so seeing combat back in the game in a way that helps with platforming will hopefully really amp of the gameplay for me!

This looks so fucking cool. A brilliant evolution of the mechanics from Demon Turf. I love the way she backflips into the air after boosting into an enemy. Reminds me a lot of the Platinum Games shooter, Vanquish. Was that a direct inspiration?
