Probably not, but he obviously didn't desire to return there, nor did the (ruling) judge believe that he should've. So the question is whether you approve of the administration's actions.
Of course I approve. He’s a Salvadoran citizen. He is back in his homeland now. I don’t care where he ‘desires’ to be. Try moving to ANY country on the planet without taking the legal steps just because you ‘desire’ to be there. See how that works for you, champ.
You can through asylum processes, champ. He was essentially granted asylum by an immigration judge who believed he was at risk of persecution back home. He was deported by mistake, and to a prison at that.
So why do you support the government's mistake when it denies due process?
I know; I said "essentially". I've read the reporting. Your attempt at a point doesn't rebut or respond to anything relevant that I just said.
Really appreciate your snark and condescension, btw. I'll get back to you if you can calm yourself. I'm trying to have a conversation, not an argument.
As a fellow life-long republican, I want to ask you this..
If he had been picked up and, without any due process, had been placed in an American prison for life on American soil - would you feel so good/smug about it?
If not, why is it different for an American-wing of a Salvadorian prison?
I’m not a lifelong republican, sir. I voted for BOTH Clintons and Obama. I don’t know that dude should be in prison but I do know he shouldn’t be in the US. He’s a repatriated citizen of El Salvador. What his country does with him is none of my concern. We got our own shit going on.
He's also being held - on the ORDER of the US, without due process, in a maximum security prison PAID FOR by American citizens through funds not appropriated for that purpose - and AMERICA has said he should be brought back and gone through our legal process. I will not say thank you for ANY of that
