Almost all bees native to the us, barely make honey. Most honey bees are Italian (they make a good amt of honey and are calm). There are also Russian (aggressive) & Carnelian (nice honey). The most prolific honey makers are these three. They also do the heavy lifting on North American crops.

Thats interesting to hear never thought of that. In Australia we have native bees they don’t string but apparently make honey extra sweet then honey bee.
