Canada needs to open asylum claims for Trans Americans NOW.

“The State Department is blocking new passports for trans Americans”

The EU needs to update its laws and open asylum pathways for trans people. Denying someone identification is state sponsored erasure and it needs to be recognised as persecution.

So afaik, they haven't issued a deportation order in the above case yet.

And the RPD/RAD process is quite slow, giving most people years to be in Canada and work.

Daria's RPD decision was in 2021.

Businesses have been posting Ghost Jobs here for over 20 years to get the government to give them permission to hire TFWs.

We also have the notwithstanding clause which allows suspending some civil rights of minorities. It's been used to target trans people already in several provinces.

Trump and the right wing wishes he had something like this. There is nothing remotely comparable in the US system.

I personally believe that if a trans exterminationist party elected into office, what happens here will be far worse and far quicker than what happens with the USA.
