I didn’t generalize in my last tweet. I was very clear on that. I wasn’t against delivering weapons initially, but now I’d rather focus on offering Ukrainians a chance for a peaceful life in EU countries than prolonging years of war. Something impossible with any coalition with the CDU. 1/2

This isn’t because I think Russia is right, but because I don’t want more people to die. As a pacifist, I’d always prefer leaving a territory to save the lives of myself and my family. I understand that I can’t expect Ukrainians to share this personal belief. 2/2

So you would drop weapon delivery altogether to force Ukraine into forfeit? As a pacifist, do you think its justifiable to let something like Bucha happen again? What if Putin is not willing to make concessions or just goes on with his raid? there is no sign of him being willing to negotiate.

I’d like NATO to propose halting weapon supplies if Russia agrees to an immediate ceasefire. This could push Russia to end the war and allow NATO to use the ceasefire to integrate Ukraine into the EU/NATO while offering serious support/protection. 1/2

Diplomacy is the only way to end this war. I’m tired of hearing that Putin won’t negotiate. It might be true, but the same people are outraged when Scholz tries to call him. Again, how do you think this war can end otherwise? 2/2
