I really despise comic platforms without a comment section! Reading comments when something interesting happened, heightens the overall webcomic experience! ðŸ˜

SAME! I love the comment sections. The feeling of: "Is it just me or...?" "OHH somone else thought this as well" or... "huh? I did not notice that"
Or just the silly jokes and memes are so precious.
FWIW, I've known a couple webcomic creators who shut down their comment sections, simply because of the amount of harassment they were getting in them.
Comment sections are also yet another time sink comic creators have to deal with, so an artist has to consider if they're worth it.
