OK, so I don't have to go to hospital. The doc thinks it may be related to my anaemia or circulation, so I have to get an appointment with an angiologist. That's being organised tomorrow.

I'm finishing the last of the cleaning at the flat this morning (heard that before?) then got my singing group this afternoon and going out for a meal tonight. Need to get myself in gear!

Yes, thanks. Infinitely preferable to stay at home. Working is so much easier, for a start.
Good luck with the cleaning, and I hope the singing group is OK. What sort of meal will it be? I mean, any particular type of cuisine?

Thanks, the heavy duty cleaning is now done. Just the very final wipe down once we've taken all our decorating and cleaning kit home.
The restaurant is quite upmarket, interesting dishes with local ingredients, fish, venison etc. They allow dogs which is a big plus.

Thank you. No, there's no messing about. I expect the GP will say I need to go to A&E, but the last time I tried that they refused to see me, so I'm slightly concerned about that. I'll go with my bag packed in case I'm admitted.

I presume from that that you have no direct connection to the specialist (was there one) who sees you in the hospital and decrees how to treat you, how long to stay etc? If A&E are so obtuse, is it worth trying to get a direct no or some kind of connection with him/her in case of future need?

I tried contacting my specialist yesterday, but he's unavailable at the moment, dammit. A&E is unfortunately the only option. I just have to hope they'll see me.

If you are doing them you are exceptional. One of the chief complaints of physios is that people fail to do their exercises despite knowing they would improve their condition.
