You know what's even more crap? I signed up for "bi-weekly" payments for my mortgage, and it ended up being every other Friday. Which meant that if there were 5 Fridays in a month, we get our mortgage taken 3 times instead of 2 that month... 😭

For years at my current job, I was paid "twice monthly". We only converted to "every two weeks" 2 years ago.
