I don’t mind the weird Samus noises because they sound like the hit/death SFX from super Metroid in a nostalgic sorta way to me, but I agree that Mario should always sound like a little “YIPPIE-WOOHOO” creature
Just the slow mo of friendship turning to an all out fist fight. Probably one of the only Nintendo ads that actually described the game and the ruined friendships it would cause.
The costumes were amazing, too.
