There are only cons to bringing advertisers onto any service. This should be a service funded by users, with minimal special privileges for doing so, and mass deletion of low activity/spammy accounts to keep down load etc.
A voluntary patreon type of structure. Under no circumstances should there be ads. The more commercialised the internet has become, the more anti-human and evil it has become. The public never wanted this!
Not sure how to scale a platform like this with voluntary participation. I mean wikipedia has trouble at times keeping afloat without resorting to ads.
I also think the ads themselves are somewhat symbolic of the fact that the fanaticism you see on X isn’t what the public want and ads reflect that

They have to find a way maintain this platform should it reach lvls beyond its current sustainability.
I am also looking forward to the expansion of new features as i’m sure with the influx of users, there will be demands.
