Jesus Christ. To wake up the news from Vancouver today. So much car culture + how roads are built point to death, even before the motivations of the driver are known.
Will still take a sedan over a big truck. Trucks replaced muscle cars & I’d love to see a swing back to a smaller vehicle. Those tanks are a scourge. Currently in Spain and my 11-year-old commented on how quiet the traffic is here compared to home 🥲
I was just in France. No massive pickups, very few SUVs, lots of practical, small Renaults, Citroens and Peugeots. I love that they have three popular national car manufacturers, while Canada has ... well, we had Bricklin once.
