If course - it looked in the trailer like the new version has Kumba and Pleakley using a hologram of some sort as their disguises - just looking like regular normal dudes. It glitches out in the trailer and shows Pleakley (right) in his alien form

Changing it into holographic human disguses also misses the whole base humour of "the human expert REALLY doesn't get anything about humans" part. The patently bad disguises were part of the whole BIT about that!
They're going to sand down every possible gay uncles aspect it used to have too, mark my word. No more married couple bickering they always did and I doubt it'll end up with them living with her and together. Just going to be two guys doing a job
