Also, not to sound like a bitch. But I think I have already heard every single "but what if you tried ___?" or "They cant do that because ___!"
I know. My answer to those will always be "I tried" and "they did anyways" unfortunately.

Tldr; the best course of action legally speaking, is unfortunately wait and see while trying not to change your documentation too much to avoid complications. Until then, the best you can do outside of that is be vocal on ever avenue, raise awareness, and raise hell. Dont just take it quietly
