I am really proud of this paper, since it illustrates how advanced spectroscopy experiments can be carried out automatically under low oxygen conditions in flow, consuming very small amounts of material.

This paper uses simple lab automation concepts, combining valves from KNAUER, pumps from @Vapourtec Ltd and spectroscopy equipment from
@thorlabs.bsky.social and Avantes are combined with a special degassing unit from IDEX Corporation/Fritiof Pontén Biotech Fluidics

firmly believe that lab #automation and #autonomousdiscovery systems in scientific research will play a major role in the coming years.
The degassing creates Oxygen free conditions (0.1 ppm) in situ, streamlining the measurements greatly, previously introduced here.
