One way to alienate moderates is by forcing overt displays of cruelty. A fascist openly declaring, "I hope their home country deports them too!" might give a laugh, but it also disrupts the moderate’s comfort, making them hesitate to support.
The worst thing we can do is disappear. Hiding may offer short-term safety, but it lets our enemies grow stronger. Survival matters, but so does undermining their power. Don’t hide—expose their hostility.
