The scary part is that with 55000 inhabitants, its a cheap investment to buy votes in Greenland if they were to be convinced by money.

True and likely the US will use the same tactics the right used in the UK against the EU; a convenient whipping boy for all problems - so it'll be disinformation on overdrive. I know independence has been a discussion point for decades, same as with Iceland, Hopefully they'll be prepared.

Damn, I did not think of that. Luckily though the most recent vote stood at 84% dropping massively to 45% if it meant a reduction in their standard of living 👍
