Carbon-free sources carried 83% of power demand yesterday afternoon in ERCOT. Renewables provided over 70% of power needs in the afternoon. With higher demand today, the energy mix is comprised of 65-75% carbon-free sources. Would have been hard to predict this 10 years ago...
