Also, I've had no issues with weird long load times between rounds (yet)! What is weird is that while some menus have gotten rid of the negative edge inputs, the other half still has it. But I'm sure that can be fixed before launch if they can already improve matchmaking this much!

the round load time issue was stage specific--it depended on whether or not you or the other player was using terry's stage, so you'd probably need to set that as your stage to truly check!

That's been the case for me as well. I'm hoping with the final release they will let us randomize stages.

I'm likely not going to reach a high skill ceiling as feinting has been difficult for me.
