Cmon haters I know his voice is annoying and should not have pulled the winter fuel payments but Starmer has so far handled this tricky and extremely dangerous hand he's been dealt masterfully - both principled and pragmatic.

He hasnt pulled winter fuel payments. Hes just made them means tested. (I still remember the panarama programme of people complaining they couldnt give it back. Now they complain they have to fill in a form?)
