Pretty much so. Plus the pressure they put on food companies whicj is in turn put on to us! Sadly not ever farmer can sell everything through farm shops and not everyone can buy through one!

Very true. It used to be possible didn't it? We shoppers fell for the convenience/ under one roof years ago. Now many wish for the time when they had local butchers, bakers, greengrocers.
Unfortunately society (possibly not for the better!) has changed as well as the size of population and people just don't see to have time to shop like that now do they
