trump's solution to campus antisemitism is the same solution he has to every problem: blame immigrants and people of color and then strip them of their equality. it isn't to help us, it's to turn immigrants and people of color — our natural allies — against us.

The Education Department's Office for Civil Rights—Jewish students' best recourse against antisemitism—just had its staff cut by half. At a time of historic antisemitism and a growing backlog of cases, this means even fewer protections for Jewish students when they need them most.
