The question was how is AI innately pro-democratic/pro-freedom. Off top but with the huge amount of power required for escalating AI usage, I don't see how they can be getting cheaper in actual costs or costs to the environment.
I mean, "empowered" to do what, exactly? Computers "empowered" people and now we they're empowered to spread misinformation at an alarming speed to an alarming number of other people. Is that "democratizing"?
The original statement was that AI is “innately” pro democratic and pro freedom. Lots of people feel like owning an AR15 makes them more free. Does that make assault rifles innately democratic?
Let’s all stop huffing our own farts and stick to facts and reality.
Weird how a highly credentialed expert can make a fairly outlandish statement and when asked to elaborate not only do they fail to do that but all kinds of randos show up to also not elaborate but instead make assertions about how some people allegedly feel, as if that matters.

People find that AI empowers them, as individuals, to accomplish things they couldn't do otherwise.
These are current facts.
Sounds like on the whole you are not a fan of giving people more power.

I am running a version of this model in my home computer without any special hardware or high power consumption.
Any tech is less efficient at the beginning.
