Now it's not beyond the pale. Polls show overwhelming support for the idea, though only 52% of Israeli Jews consider it "realistic".

This disturbing fact owes much to existing attitudes among Israelis, but also to the legitimising effect of a US President endorsing ethnic cleansing.

yes I should have said "only". Further 30% replied the plan is desirable yet not feasible. That's at least 82% who would move in the direction of ethnic cleansing if possible
