I saw someone in the MB discord linking Getting Better with Miseries too, that could also be used in CB. I like that concept of using the world-ending escalation with PC rewards/improvements.

I was thinking about something similar for Borgs and making it a usage die. So you can use them more often, but they have a chance of ticking down when you do, and you improve them by doing daring stuff.
